Crafting Items
One of the unique features of Medieval Dynasty is that it uses crafting systems as a means of progression through the game. When you start, you can choose to either create units and structures or fight against the other factions with your unique units or buildings. Once you have begun to gather items to sell or battle with the different sections. You will notice that each turn you will get to craft more things to be used in battle or crafted for inventory purposes. These items include weapons, armour, potions, and even tools that can further help you in your quest for survival. Once you are done crafting, you will be able to sell or auction off some of your crafted items to get extra cash that you can use in combat or purchase items for your inventory.
Quests
During your turn, you will be given a series of investigations that revolve around survival and exploration. Some of these quests will be optional while others must be completed to move on to the next level. Moreover, The probes are designed to put you in situations where you must utilize your knowledge and expertise to succeed. For example, on the Medieval Dynasty quest, you will find yourself needing to construct an arena to battle it out in with fellow soldiers.
Hunting Wild Animals
Another feature in Medieval Dynasty Early Access is the ability to hunt down and kill some of the wild animals in the game. The animals are very tough and can easily one-shot your character making this an essential part of your overall survival. The hunting is done by targeting animals that are wandering around the map or those that are fenced in. Once you have killed a few of them, you can then request that your allies go and try and catch the beasts so you can try and kill them as well.
Story Quests
One of the main features of Medieval Dynasty Early Access is the introduction of story quests which are missions that will help you develop and build up your kingdom. These story quests are split up into three categories, namely the Robin Hood, Feudal Kings, and The Undead. Each of these is all designed to help you develop your kingdom and provide you with the means of progression. The story quests don’t have any bearing on the actual gameplay, but they do form a part of the overall game mechanics. They are therefore essential to get right if you want to enjoy your time in Medieval Dynasty.
Survival
The main focus in Medieval Dynasty is on developing your kingdom through capturing castles, razing settlements and ultimately hunting down and killing enemy characters. To do this, you have to make sure that you have enough food and equipment at your disposal. You will be introduced to a new type of barter system where you are allowed to trade supplies and resources with other players. Trading with the other players for resources can sometimes be difficult but can sometimes be quite rewarding, especially during unexpected events such as sieges. You can also learn about new strategies that other players will use while playing, which will help you develop your strategy in developing your medieval dynasty.
